After suffering years of earache, I went to tom seeking some answers and clarity. Tom was very professional and he is clearly an expert in his field. I have suffered with my ears since childhood , I’ve had a perforated eardrum, regular ear infections and because I swim I get otitis externa . My doctor recommended I seek a local ear technician to clean the wax buildup. A friend recommended Ears of Axholme who arranged a home visit. Tom was extremely professional, really quick to respond and booked my in the same day.

Tom showed me on his camera the wax in my ears before he removed it . My clarity of hearing is much better and slight vertigo I was suffering has disappeared.

I had been suffering a few weeks with a blockage in both ears. I'd tried olive oil but no good infact it was getting worse. Got in touch with my doctors who gave me an appointment for 3 weeks time. Apparently I was lucky as a lot of doctors don't provide this service anymore, which is great to hear when you've paid national insurance for 46 years . Anyway Apparently this appointment was just to see if I needed treatment not to actually do anything. Anyway I was sat one Saturday night in significant pain googling about getting my ears sorted when I came across ears of axholme. I messaged Tom never expecting a reply until Monday at the earliest , he replied straight away. I was in on the Sunday getting sorted , because my left ear was so sore had it finished off the following Friday evening after work. What a relief to find someone so professional, understanding and considerate. No hesitation at returning for a check up. One payment per ear no matter how many visits. So reassuring in this day when everyone seems to want to take as much money as they can get.

I've suffered from the build-up of wax in my ears since being a teenager, I heard my GP practice doesn't offer syringing anymore so I looked online for an alternative and came across Ears of Axholme, made an appointment and the rest is history, Tom was very knowledgeable and professional service was provided he removed all the build-up of wax and told me I had an issue behind my ear drum and advised me and provided me with a nose balloon to try and clear the build-up of pressure behind the ear drum which I am currently working on, all in all, an enjoyable experience and would highly recommend. Writing on behalf of mother in law (aged 77). Amazing service, professional and so friendly, put her at ease and was gentle throughout the ear syringing (micro suction). She was apprehensive due to suffering neuralgia a few years ago however Tom alleviated her anxiety. I could hear instantly when she called at the relief she had from this home visit. Booked on the same day, reasonable pricing, excellent service. Also did the father in laws afterwards. I took my 16 year old son for a consultation with Tom for the first time earlier this week. He cleared both his ears on the first appointment. Tom visited my father in the Care Home at very short notice. My father has had ear issues for several years and nobody has been able to satisfactorily clear his ears of wax. Early appointment 7am and whilst quick it was on point. I have experienced tinnitus, and my ears was wax free. It was explained that it maybe my inner ear and to try Otovent. I purchased it from them as Amazon cost same, it has made a difference in one day so feel its best money I have spent. It was £32 for this service and purchase which I am so grateful for.

On contacting Ears of Axholme I initially spoke to a very pleasant young lady who soon arranged our appointment nothing was too much trouble. We had a home visit as my husband is housebound and it was an excellent experience. A very pleasant young man explained everything to my husband as he went along. After quite awhile he managed to remove the blockage he persisted until it was clear. I can fully recommend Ears of Axholme and I will be using them again.

I was really impressed with my first experience here. I have never previously had ear wax removed and I was a little apprehensive of what to expect. I had put off arranging attending a service to assist me with muffled hearing and slight ear pain - I’m so glad I found Ears of Axholme. I was made to feel at home when I visited the clinic and despite one ear with circa 90% blockage (the other ear was 50%), the appointment was all done and dusted within 30 mins or so - it was not rushed and they answered all my questions and the attention to detail was top class. They explained what they weee doing and why. My pain was relieved and I feel my hearing is a lot better.
